Held in the Board Room of the Columbus Dept. of Health on May 8, 2014, this was the ninth of 10 targeted stakeholder workshops held in conjunction with the work of the Greater Columbus Infant Mortality Task Force. The workshops are designed to seek input from those who are already tackling at least one piece of this large issue.

Specifically, the group was asked to provide feedback and insights on the programs they use or would like to be able to use; any barriers they face as expectant or new moms; and what they think could be done to improve access to better services that could help decrease the community’s infant mortality rate.
